What made you start writing?

I’ve always enjoyed journaling and writing. I started with poetry and journaling, and then I want to say somewhere around 2021, I just started writing stories. And ideas for books. And ideas for characters. And I’m really attracted to unpretty characters and people. Messy, complex people who grew up in dysfunctional homes, and have experienced trauma and abuse, or made bad decisions because they either didn’t know any better, or they were conditioned that way. That’s where it all started for me.

When are you going to open up your Etsy Shop?

I plan to do it in 2026 when I have time. My goal is to finish my first draft of Black Orchids Bleed Velvet, then I will start working on my Etsy shop again. So summer 2026 is the goal.

Do you have a rare blood disease?

The disorder I have been diagnosed with is Monoclonal Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which is a mast cell disease, which is basically a subtype of MCAS. I have been through hell with doctors and to anyone out there dealing with a bunch of symptoms that doctors have no idea about and tell you you’re crazy because your blood work comes back fine.
